Notes for
Submitters who have Received Provisional Acceptance for Abstracts
1. Presentation
1.1. The
submission of an abstract constitutes a commitment by the submitting author to present the abstract (if accepted)
orally or as a poster, in the session and at the time assigned by the 10th
World Congress Scientific Committee.
Note:
The presenting author does not have to be the 1st author.
1.2. The Scientific Committee may assign a different
presentation mode from the one selected by the submitting author.
1.3. If an abstract is selected for oral presentation,
the submitting author will be requested to present it in the assigned
concurrent session. If an abstract is accepted as a poster presentation, the submitting
author will be requested to be available for discussion during the poster
viewing sessions (lunchtime – days to be notified).
1.4. Each
congress participant will be limited to one oral presentation.
This does not apply to participants who have been invited as presenters at
special symposia, or who are co-authors on other presentations. Participants
who have received provisional acceptance for more than one abstract will have
to decide which abstract they wish to present, and notify the Congress
Secretariat when confirming acceptance to present paper (see 2.2).
1.5.
If
the submitting author is unable to present the abstract, a co-author can take
his/her place. The submitting author must inform the Congress Secretariat of
the change in writing by 19 March 2010,
Friday.
2.
