| Who We Are |
| The Bioethics Advisory Committee (BAC) was established by
the Singapore Government in December 2000 to examine and make recommendations
for potential ethical, legal and social issues arising from research in
the biomedical sciences in Singapore.
The BAC reports to and advises the Ministerial Committee for Life Sciences, led by Singapore's Deputy Prime Minister Dr Tony Tan.
