| The Bioethics Advisory Committee (BAC) was established by
the Singapore Government in December 2000 to examine and make recommendations
for potential ethical, legal and social issues arising from research in
the biomedical sciences in Singapore.
The BAC reports to and advises the Steering Committee on Life Sciences, led by Dr Tony Tan, Chairman of the National Research Foundation.
